Peter F. Carlson & Associates is a full service interior design firm with offices in Manhattan and Lyme, CT. With special emphasis on residential design, the firm has over the past 30 years completed dozens of projects worldwide. We have worked in collaboration with a number of outstanding architects and we can also provide in-house architectural services as required.

Most projects involve a significant amount of custom production, including furniture, fabrics, carpets and lighting. We have developed an extensive network of specialized manufacturers to fabricate finely detailed design elements unique to each project. Given the scale of our operations, we typically run no more than three or four significant projects at any one time, which guarantees close control and focused personal attention to each job.

Fees and compensation are determined on an individual basis according to the size and scope of the project. Generally an arrangement of conceptual fees and hourly billing suits most clients.
